No business can escape the need to think about its financial structure, how it wishes / can finance itself, the main financial risks it wishes / must manage.
It is therefore a question of understanding what it is about, highlighting the overlaps between financial policy and financing, treasury and risk management policy.
It is also essential to situate these challenges in the environment of the company and in particular in its banking environment, in the environment of the financial markets that it can call upon and naturally in its competitive environment.
Patrice Tourlière has held various positions within the Lafarge Group (now LafargeHolcim). From 1993 to 1998, he was the Chief Financial Officer of Lafarge Asia Pacific with regional responsibility for the entire region including China. Back in France, from 1998 to 2016, he took charge of the Group's Finance, Treasury and Insurance Department. He was also a director and Vice-President of AFTE (Association Française des Trésoriers d'Entreprise). Patrice was also since 1999 President of the Rating Commission of this Association, commission which he had created. Since his recent retirement, Patrice has left his official functions within AFTE and joined the Training Center, as a Trainer.
